Taylor Swift presumably never responded to Calvin Harris’ tantrum tweets last week because she had bigger issues to deal with: Kim Kardashian.
Kanye West’s wife uploaded a Snapchat yesterday that proved Taylor Swift gave the rapper permission to use his controversial line “For all my Southside niggas that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that b*tch famous” in his song “Famous.”
Before uploading the video, Kardashian teased it to her fans on Twitter.
After last night’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, in which West and Swift’s feud was a major plot line, she uploaded the video. While the clip is definitely edited, it does look like Swift gives her consent and thanks him for bringing the line to her before releasing it to the public.
Damn. After all this time, there’s finally proof. But Taylor Swift is still fighting the good fight and insists she was never given the full story.
Earlier this year, Swift and West seemed to reconcile after he famously interrupted her at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. But things went south once again after West released “Famous.” Swift immediately condemned the line when she won the Grammy for Album of the Year a few days later, explaining that there will be people who “will try to undercut your success.” While West wasn’t named exclusively, it was clearly about him.
