Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino is calling on Kim Kardashian to help free his fellow castmate Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino from jail.
Guadagnino, 31, please his case to Kardashian, 38, through TMZ. He said that Sorrentino, 36, would do more good out of prison and that he’s a changed man.
“Kim, Mike is an amazing person. To me, he’s completely reformed,” Guadagnino told TMZ. “He’s a great member of society. He preaches to kids that have addictions; he’s a big advocate and evangelist for recovery. He’d be better off out here helping people. Kim get on that!”
Sorrentino reported to the Otisville Federal Correctional Institution last week. Sorrentino signed off to his fans on Twitter. “The comeback is always greater than the setback,” he tweeted alongside a GIF of Ray Liotta from Goodfellas saying, “Now take me to jail.”

(@ItsTheSituation) Sorrentino was sentenced to eight months in prison and two years of supervised release. Kardashian has worked on prison reform and to free prisoners with drug charges. In June 2018, President Donald Trump granted clemency to Alice Johnson, a prisoner that Kardashian fought for.
Johnson was serving a life sentence for a first time drug offense. Johnson got involved with drugs to support her family and has since reformed. Kardashian went to the White House to talk to the president about granting Johnson clemency, which he eventually did.
Sorrentino and his brother Marc were indicted in September 2014 for tax fraud after failing to pay taxes on $8.9 million in income from 2010 to 2012. In April 2017 they were indicted on additional charges including tax evasion and falsifying records.
In January 2018 Sorrentino pled guilty for one count of tax evasion and his brother plead guilty to one count in the preparation of a false and fraudulent tax return. Sorrentino was sentenced to eight months in prison and two years of supervised released, and his brother was sentenced to two years behind bars.
