When it comes to Kanye West’s Yeezy campaigns they all have a few things in common. They’re typically NSFW, feature his wife Kim Kardashian and the models are clad in earth tones.
The latest Yeezy campaign for the Boost 350 V2’s new colorway Butter, was no different.
Kardashian, of course, launched the campaign with a photo that has been memed several times over. Kardashian looks like a curvaceous Barbie doll that was thrown into a drawer and her plastic limbs went awry.
Kardashian’s contorted body infiltrated social media feeds and was made into a hilarious joke. She even shared some on her Instagram story trying to get in on the meme.
Unlike Kardashian’s first photo, the rest of the campaign features a lot of limbs, but they look more natural and posied. Typically, concrete barren walls or asphalt parking lots are the backdrop for Yeezy photos. But this time the recruited Instagram models and West’s friends lounged on beds wearing nothing but skimpy Yeezy clothes and the new Butter shoes.
The models from the campaign are a combination of West’s friends, employees, Instagram models and a YouTube star.
You typically wouldn’t be wearing sneakers on your bed, but this is a Yeezy campaign after all.
Let’s dive into who got to model the coveted new Butter 350s.
Kim Kardashian
Why this photo wasn’t released before the other awkward one is unknown to me.
Rebecca Hearn
This isn’t Hearn’s first Yeezy campaign. She also modeled for the SUPERMOON collection. She is part of the Henri Collective, which is a creative production and content company.
Brad Hall
Hall garnered Internet fame through his viral Youtube channel. He regularly posts sneaker review videos that take normcore and satire to a whole new level.
DB works for Yeezy as a stylist and creative collaborator. He was also part of the SUPERMOON campaign. His fianceé Anastasia Nicole is pictured with him.
Tommie Lee
Yes, Lee from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is now a Yeezy model. She recently has been arrested for disorderly conduct.
Ian Connor
Connor has modeled for Yeezy before this Butter campaign. The model has 21 rape allegations against him but still manages to book gigs.
Meredith Mickelson
Mickelson is a model who gained popularity on Instagram.
Sami Miro
Miro is a designer for Sami Miro Vintage. Her clothes are very popular among the Kardashian-Jenner family and other celebrities. Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez, Kourtney Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid and Kaia Gerber have all sported her designs.
Lily Markey
There isn’t much information about Markey but based on her Instagram she seems to be heavily involved in the Yeezy brand.
Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday party had everything a good party should. A famous guest list, outfit changes, impeccable decorations and a woman being carried face down on a stretcher.
Tammy Hembrow was the one who was unfortunately carried out of the club. The mother of two is an Australian fitness blogger who gained fame on Instagram. She has 8.6 million Instagram followers and 1.2 million YouTube subscribers.
Naturally, Hembrow cleared the air of what went down at Kylie’s party with a YouTube video. She said that she was running on 30 hours of no sleep and simply collapsed from exhaustion.
If being publicly photographed in a very vulnerable moment wasn’t enough, most of the Kardashians unfollowed Hembrow on Instagram. According to the Daily Mail, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian all unfollowed her.
The reason why is still unknown. Kris recently went on an Australian radio show, Kylie and Jackie O, where she was asked her about the incident.
“I hope she’s okay,” Kris said. “I actually left before any of that happened. I typically go to bed at nine o’clock so it was way past my bedtime.”
Kris seems like she doesn’t want to be included in this narrative. Hembrow knows the Kardashians through modeling and work. She modeled for Khloe’s clothing line Good American.
In Hembrow’s YouTube video she went into great detail about what happened that night.
“So basically what happened was I was in L.A. and I was running on pretty much 30 hours of no sleep,” she said. “I was struggling to stay awake getting my hair and makeup done. I was literally sitting there like fully asleep. I could barely keep my eyes open. I have been throwing myself into work way more than ever and I also have my kids majority of the time.”
Hembrow just broke up with her partner Reece Hawkins. She said that she’s been throwing into work more to take her mind off of her recent split. Hembrow admits that she has been using work as an escape to not face her feelings.
“I probably definitely shouldn’t have been drinking because of how jet-lagged I was, how exhausted I was. I already wasn’t feeling well, at all.”
Combine her exhaustion with alcohol, Hembrow simply collapsed while talking to her friends at Jenner’s party. She was taken to the hospital and recovered.
On August 11 Kanye West randomly dropped a new track “XTCY.” The song shocked fans, not because it came out of the blue, but because of the lyrics. In the song, West raps about wanting to sleep with all of his sisters-in-law a.k.a. Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
In this first verse West raps, “You got sick thoughts? I got more of ’em / You got a sister-in-law you’d smash? I got four of ’em / Damn, those is your sisters / You did somethin’ unholy to them pictures / Damn, you need to be locked up / Nah, we need a bigger hot tub.”
The cover art for the song is a group shot of the Kardashian-Jenner family that was taken the night before the song came out on Kylie’s birthday.
So how did the family feel about West’s borderline incestuous lyric? A source told People that West typically runs all of his lyrics by his wifey Kim Kardashian. It’s highly likely that Kim gave her family the heads up about the controversial verse.
The insider also told People that no one is upset over his lyrics and if they are, they haven’t spoken up about it. And at this point, nothing West does surprise the tight-knit family.

Kris Jenner though is remaining neutral on the whole “Kanye wants to sleep with all of my children” discussion. On Tuesday, the momager called into Australian radio show Kylie and Jackie O and was asked about the lyrics.
“I have earmuffs on right now. I did not know,” Kris told them. “I just walk around with my hands over my ears. Earmuffs, earmuffs!”
Kris then said she doesn’t know if West floated the lyrics by Kim at first, but expects that he did.
“I don’t know exactly what their conversations are but of course he probably runs that by her. I would imagine,” Kris stated.
Besides Kris, no one else has spoken out about the song. It’s weird that none of them are bothered by this, right?
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are already prepping to bring in a fourth baby ‘ye. According to Us Weekly, many sources told the magazine that the parents of three are plotting for their fourth.
“[They] have one last embryo left,” an insider told Us Weekly.
The source also told them that the last embryo they have is a boy.
Another source told the mag that they plan on having their last embryo implanted “soon.” Meaning the couple will once again be having a gestational carrier.
For their third child, Chicago, the couple also had a gestational carrier surrogate. The reason why they hired a surrogate is that another pregnancy would be life-threatening to Kim. She was diagnosed with placenta accreta and preeclampsia during her last pregnancy with Saint.
Kim has talked about in length about her painful pregnancy, and the lengthy decision her and Kanye made to have a surrogate. Before they decided to go the surrogate route, Kim talked about having a surgery to prep and fix her uterus to carry another a kid. She admitted that getting pregnant again would be high risk.
“I have always been really honest about my struggles with pregnancy,” the reality star wrote on her website a few days after Chicago was born. “Preeclampsia and placenta accreta are high-risk conditions, so when I wanted to have a third baby, doctors said that it wasn’t safe for my – or the baby’s – health to carry on my own.”
“After exploring many options, Kanye and I decided to use a gestational carrier,” she continued. “Although I have used the term surrogate in the past, a gestational carrier is actually the technical term for a woman who carries a baby that she has no biological relationship to. A tradition surrogate donates her egg, is artificially inseminated with the father’s sperm and then carries the baby to term Since we implanted my fertilized egg in our gestational carrier, our baby is biologically mine and Kanye’s.”
The family is already a family of five. They have three kids, North, 5, Saint, 2, and of course Chicago. Chicago was born on January 15, 2018. She’s not even 1-years-old yet, but the family is gearing up for the fourth kid.
Supposedly the embryo is a boy so Kimye will have an even two boys and two girls.
The Kardashian-Jenners are photographed A LOT. Whenever they step out of the house they are most likely getting photographed and followed by paparazzi.
Along with having their every move documented, their fame also means that there are countless fan accounts on social media dedicated to the famous family. Some accounts have millions of followers.
These accounts share photos Kourtney, Khloe and Kim Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner post along with those million of pap shots.
But now fan accounts are disappearing left and right because the paparazzi are getting them shut down. The reason why is because these accounts are posting and sharing their photos without pay for the rights to share those images.
Paparazzi photos are copyrighted so if you use them without properly crediting it’s illegal. Even though being a pap doesn’t seem like a glamorous job those photos are still their livelihood and their work. They make money selling those photos to photo agencies and by Instagram users going over them they get no money for their work.
Paparazzi and photo agencies are coming down hard on these fan accounts, resulting in accounts being suspended or shut down.
Now the Kardashians are getting involved in the drama and sticking up for their dedicated fans.
In a now deleted series of tweets, Khloe let her fans know how she really thinks of licensing photos of herself.
A fan asked Khloe is she was going to post her Versace look soon. She responded that she needs to pay for some pap shots beforehand.
“Yes!! I have to license some of the images first,” she posted. “A paparazzi sued me in the past for reposting an image of mYSELF. So now it just takes me a little longer because I have to go and license the images so they don’t get my MAKES NO SENSE.”
Then fans informed Khloe that fan accounts were getting shut down over illegal pap shots.

Kim hopped in on the paparazzi drama. She tweeted that maybe her family will start their own paparazzi agency so fans can freely post whatever.

Earlier this month Kim Kardashian stepped out in neon hair, and now she’s wearing flesh colored jewelry that lights up to her heartbeat. We are one step away from Kardashian wearing an entire alien outfit.
Kardashian posted a few videos on her Instagram story explaining her necklace. “My necklace glows like a heartbeat,” Kardashian said in a video. “It moves to the rhythm of my heartbeat.”
She then showed off how the necklace lights up in sync to her actual heartbeat.
Then almost two hours after she posted a video of her necklace her BFF Chrissy Teigen posted her own alien body jewelry. Teigen was sent feathers to put on her chest. They don’t glow up like Kim’s necklace but still.
Teigen shared a video of her body jewelry on her Instagram story. “These are my new feathers,” Teigen explained. Her daughter Luna was in the background and she piped in to tell her mom how much she liked her new feathers.
Both pieces of jewelry were made by A. Human. Their Instagram bio describes the brand as an “immersive theatrical art event.” A. Human is founded by A. Huxley. It features accessories and body modifications in the spirit of fashion.

The immersive experience is being produced by Society of Spectacle, which is described as “a live entertainment storytelling brand” that was founded by Simon Huck. Huck helped conceive the concept of the flagship.
If you know a bit about the Kardashians and their entourage, the dots should be connecting right now. If not, I’ll connect the dots for you. Huck is a longtime friend of the Kardashians, he’s especially tight with Kourtney Kardashian. It’s very rare that Kourtney travels without Huck.

Last night on August 28, Kanye West tweeted that he’s adding two new shoes to his expanding Yeezy line. The rapper and designer is currently working on adding two new glow in the dark Boost 350 v2 colorways.
The shoe that made Yeezy reach hype beast status will now come in glow in the dark neon yellow and orange.
The mock-up of the shoes look more reflective than glow in the dark. Like your white sneakers at the bowling alley, but on steroids. They look like construction workers vests, but for your feet. Or better yet, they look like a glow stick accidentally broke open and ruined your nice Yeezy Boosts. Anyways, they’ll most likely sell out in minutes.
His wife Kim Kardashian quote tweeted Kanye and explained the origin story behind the glow stick sneakers, and it’s quite endearing.
Kardashian tweeted that she was trying to convince her eldest daughter North West to wear her new Yeezy Boost Butter 350 v2s. North not understanding the clout she would get for sporting the new Yeezy colorway refused to wear the Butters. So Kardashian being any mom pulled out all the stops to convince her daughter to wear the shoes.

A few things I love about this backstory, North catching Kardashian in a lie, North wanted to wear light up Yeezys over hollandaise sauce colored Yeezys and Kanye making a shoe just for his daughter.
This backstory works all too well with Kardashian’s recent affinity for neon. On her recent trip to Miami, Kardashian was wearing neon latex, neon wigs and driving neon cars.
Yes, I’m slightly skeptical. I wouldn’t put it past Kardashian and Kanye to take an idea that their 5-year-old had and ran with it creating a new neon wave. But if North inspired this new ultra-reflective obsession then I’m here for it.
North is a style icon after all and if she wants glow in the dark Yeezys then so do I, even if they are a bit much.
We all know that Kim Kardashian doesn’t live in reality, despite getting famous off of a reality TV show. The most recent crazy thing that Kim has admitted to doing is hiring models to try on all of her outfits before she wears them.
Kim told People magazine that she has had select “fit” models that match her body measurements perfectly.
“There are fit models – we have gotten people who have my exact same measurements – and they try on all the clothes, photograph it, do the fittings for hours every day of all the different Yeezy looks,” Kim told People.
But it’s not just her Yeezy looks that get a trial run before they’re placed on her body. Almost all of the looks she wears get put on fit models, styles then polaroid so Kim can later wear the same look.
“At one point I sent over my entire closet to my husband’s office, I had full time security because I was so nervous. but that was just to photograph it with the fit models there and put looks together.”
“There were all these stylists using my clothes, taking pictures and then sending it to me and then whatever I like I’ll try it on and make sure it looks good on me,” she continued. “They make my life so easy!”
Kim is too busy to try on her own clothes! She has to hire people to try on her fits for her and then selects from there what she will wear.
This is probably not that abnormal for famous people, considering Kim isn’t the busiest of the bunch, and she’s doing it. But still, the idea that someone, who has the exact same measurements of yourself, trying on your clothes, so you know the fit slaps and isn’t a brick is wild.
Yesterday, Kim Kardashian announced on Instagram KKW Beauty’s newest Cherry Blossom Collection. Kardashian wrote, “My new Cherry Blossom Collection is almost here and is inspired by my love for the pretty pink-colored trees (Chi’s baby shower was cherry blossom themed!)”
The press photos for the collection feature Kardashian (of course) naked or in nude underwear and laying in a bed of cherry blossoms.
The Cherry Blossom Collection consists of a new 10 shadow eyeshadow palette, three blushes, eight lipsticks and three lip liners. The only new product in the collection are the blushes, the rest have been released before in different colors.
The collection will feature pink and berry colors and it looks amazing. KKW Beauty’s Instagram posted a photo of the full collection. Even though the eyeshadow palette does feature pinks and berries, it still has a strong neutral aspect to it. Her Classic Palette has a more peachy orange undertone, so the pink undertones are refreshing.
The entire Cherry Blossom Collection will retail for $260, even though it’s valued at $279. The collection drops on September 14 at 12 P.M. PST. Check out the individual products below.
The 10 pan palette has four glitter shadows and six matte shadows. The names for the colors are based on Kim’s third child Chicago and Japan. The shades from left to right are Chi, Baby, Samurai, Cherry, Blossom, Japan, Sakura, West, Season and Hanami. Hanami is the Japanese tradition of welcoming spring, it’s also dubbed as the Cherry Blossom Festival.
As described on the KKW Beauty site, “These first-ever KKW Beauty blushes incorporate pearls to illuminate and highlight the feature while bringing a soft flush to the apples of the cheeks.”
The blushes come in three shades, Grace, Karma and Destiny. Grace is described as a “terracotta peach,” Destiny is a Pink Rose with light Gold Pearl” and Karma is a “Plum Red with Gold Pearl.” Grace and Destiny are more on the peachy orange side, KKW Beauty’s go-to undertone, and not super pink and berry like the collection promises.
The Cherry Blossom collection also features eight new lipstick shades. The colors range from cool to warm undertones so there is something for everybody. This collection also features a dark berry and neon pink shade.
When there are lipsticks there are liners. The Cherry Blossom collection features three new pink and berry liners. KKW Beauty says the liners will add “dimension and shape to the lips.”
Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian have always been tighter than the other sibling duos in the Kardashian-Jenner family. The two would routinely be featured on the spin-off show when they would “take” a city and routinely be each other’s sidekick.
But as an any avid Keeping Up With The Kardashians fan knows, Khloe and Kourtney have hit a rough patch in their relationship. Season 15 started with lots of yelling and tears. At one point Khloe confessed to a therapist that she was worried that her bond with Kourtney has changed and not for the better.
In the upcoming episode of KUWTK, Khloe is trying to figure out which sister will be True Thompson’s legal guardian if God forbid something happened to her.
Given her current relationship status with Kourtney, in Facebook terms, it’s very very complicated, Khloe doesn’t choose her trusted older sis. Instead, Khloe picks Kim, or as she calls her Keeks, to watch over True.
With both of her sister’s present, Khloe announces that Kim will be True’s, legal guardian. Kourtney is sitting there giving major side eye. Before anyways can say anything Khloe launches into her reasoning why she chooses Kim.
“Just because I don’t know my parenting style until I have a baby, but from what I envision my parenting style to be, I do think it will be more like Kim – a lot more stricter,” Khloe states.
Kourtney then said that she doesn’t need an explanation and that she has three kids of her own and wants more. She congratulates Kim and then says she isn’t bothered by Khloe’s decision because she’s gone back and forth on who the legal guardian of her kids would be.
In Kourtney’s confessional, she does admit she was bummed that Khloe didn’t pick her.
Kourtney is notoriously the “healthy” very L.A. mom of the bunch. She follows a strict diet and doesn’t eat gluten, sugar, dairy and red meat. Her kids follow the same regime.
Wonder if Khloe’s decision is going to spiral into another huge fight between the sisters.
Chicago West made her Keeping Up With The Kardashians debut this week. With Chicago’s arrival, Kim revealed how stressful it was naming her third child. She talked extensively of all the names she has considered and what names her family has pitched to her.
“[Kanye’s] cousin’s like, I know, Miracle and I’m like ‘Miracle West?’ That sounds like Miracle Whip and that’s like the biggest stripper name of all time,” Kim said. “And then he’s like ‘what about Previous?’ and I’m like ‘Okay, we just clearly don’t have the same taste in names.'”
MIracle and Precious weren’t the only names to get the ax. Kanye also considered naming their child Rei, Jo and Grace and even his late mother’s name Donda. On KUWTL Kim revealed that she has been looking at world maps considering naming her kid after major cities and countries like Italy, Milan and Rome. She also considered “zodiac signs and biblical names” as well.
Kim then explained why they chose the name Chicago, which I think it pretty obvious. “Kanye is originally from Chicago and the city is really connected to his memories of his mom,” she stated.
“Everyone’s going to be like, “Oh my god, that’s the craziest name!” Then they’re going to go crazy. Then they’ll get used to it and they’ll be like, “Oh, it’s normal” Kim exclaimed to her family members. To be fair, she was right. So many people criticized the name and thought it was dumb.
Kim announced Chicago’s name on her Twitter. Originally Chicago didn’t have a middle name like her other siblings, North and Saint West. But roughly six months after she was born Kim posted a selfie with Chicago and gave her an unofficial middle name, Noel, which is also her middle name.
Giving Chicago a middle name isn’t the only baby naming rule she broke. Kim went on The Ellen Show before Chicago was born to talk baby names. She told Ellen DeGeneres, “I do like short, easy to spell, one syllable names. That’s kind of my vibe.”
Chicago, Miracle, Precious, Donda, Italy and Milan all don’t fit in that category.
Chicago’s long name isn’t lost on Kim. After Chicago was born she went back on Ellen and said, “It kind of messes with me, I’m not going to lie. I really liked the one syllable thing.”
Maybe this is why Kim typically calls Chicago by her nickname Chi.
We are in the thick of season 15 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Fans have already watched Stormi Webster and Chicago West’s births. But let’s be real, we watch KUWTK to see the drama not sweet warm and fuzzy moments.
The family just dropped a midseason trailer teasing what’s to come next. Basically, the second half of the season is going to be about Tristan Thompson’s “alleged” cheating scandal and the birth of True Thompson. The parenthesizes are necessary because we don’t know that he cheated but we know that he did because there is video evidence.
The trailer starts off with good happy moments and then changes when Scott Disick says, “Nobody in this family can ever catch a break.” Then it shows Kim Kardashian in the middle of filming a talking head for the show on the phone. “They have another video of him,” she says to whoever is on the phone.
Then it cuts to Kim talking to one of her members. “Unfollowed. I hate him. Sorry, not sorry,” she says about Tristan. Then it shows Khloe getting an ultrasound by herself and over the footage she says, “The things I can control, I have to be able to control.”
Cut to Corey Gamble, Kris Jenner’s boy(friend) toy, looking at his phone presumably watching the videos of Tristan cheating and saying “God damn.” Kris Jenner responds to his God damn with, “These guys are always, like, going for sloppy seconds.”
If you need a refresher on what Tristan “allegedly” did well here you go: In April 2018 a video of Tristan allegedly making out with a girl in a club in New York City was posted by Daily Mail. On top of the video, Tristan was photographed entering his hotel with a woman at 5 A.M. that same weekend.
The woman in the photos alleged that she was pregnant with Tristan’s child. She then posted a sex tape and text screenshots on her Instagram. The video didn’t show Tristan or her face. She deleted her Instagram shortly after.
After the allegations came out, TMZ posted a video from October 2017 of Tristan making out with a woman and motorboating another in a hookah lounge.
Besides Tristan’s infidelity being smeared across our screens, season 15 will also show Kim and Kourtney Kardashian’s political work working towards Alice Johnson’s clemency and stricter cosmetic regulations, respectively. Kendall Jenner and Scott jumping out of an airplane and True Thompson’s birth.
Looks like the second half of season 15 is going to be bumpy.
Kanye West only recently reactivated his Instagram account but he thinks he can boss around his wife Kim Kardashian on what photos she should be posting.
On Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim complained to Kourtney Kardashian about Kanye’s controlling ways.
“He wanted me to post six polaroids from that shoot…but I posted one form the beach,” she told Kourtney. “He wanted them to all match up and be from the motel, that’s what the f***ing fight was.”
Kim went on to explain, “I’m like, ‘I like the beach one’s’ and he’s like ‘No! You don’t understand, I see the vision.'”
So they got in a huge fight about, what I’m assuming is her Bo Derek inspired beach and motel shoot. The photo shoot falls in the timeline of KUWTK season 15 and features polaroids, motels and the beach.
Kim continued to vent to her sister about Kanye trying to control her Instagram. “I’m like it’s my Instagram, you’re not going to tell me what to post, that’s like the one thing, no one will tell me what to post,” she said.
They didn’t just fight about Kim’s Instagram grid. The couple also fought over Band-Aids. Kim got her husband a Band-Aid but it wasn’t a color he wanted. I’m assuming it wasn’t an earth tone or neon, because he seems to have an affinity for those. In response, Kim told him to get a Jesus Band-Aid like the one their daughter North has.
“And he was like, ‘I slaved around the world making clothes for you to make sure you find the best outfit and you let me go out wearing a Jesus Band-Aid,’ he said I should have got a skin-colored Band-Aid,” Kim told her other sister Khloe Kardashian
Is this all just subliminal sponsor content for Band-Aids?
The show tried to skew the fight as a funny weird argument between the couple. But in reality, it just shows some underlying issues with the couple and how Kanye tries to control Kim.
Kim Kardashian’s insurance company, AIG has filed a suit against her former bodyguard, Pascal Duvier for $6.1 million.
Back in 2016, Kardashian’s hotel room was broken into by five men dressed as police officers. The men tied and gagged the reality TV star, held her at gun point and stole $6.1 million in jewelry from her.
According to the lawsuit, Duvier and the company he was employed by, PROTECTSECURITY are being sued for their role in the robbery.
The lawsuit states that Duvier “negligently, carelessly, and/or recklessly performed their protection, security, monitoring, inspection, and/or surveying of” Kim and they “should have known that they were required to protect, secure, monitor, inspect, and/or survey … using the skill and care reasonably expected of those in this industry.”
Duvier wasn’t even on the premise when the robbery went down. Kim stayed in for the night and Kourtney and Kendall took the bodyguard and headed to the club for a party.
The lawsuit states a number of security breaches that Duvier didn’t flag or take care of. For example, the front gate at the hotel was missing its lock and the intercom to the door wasn’t working at the time.
According to TMZ, the hotel and the concierge are not being sued despite not having ample security and security training as well.
AIG is the one suing Duvier and PROTECTSECURITY, Kardashian is not suing the company or her former bodyguard. AIG is simply going after the individuals they believe are responsible for them forking over $6.1 million to Kardashian after the incident happened.
According to People, after the incident, Duvier resigned as Kardashian’s bodyguard. She has since only returned to Paris once for Virgil Abloh’s debut Louis Vuitton menswear collection in June 2018.
We all know the Kardashian’s make tons of money off of Instagram. Kylie Jenner and Selena Gomez get paid on average $1 million per paid sponsor, while Kim Kardashian makes an average of $720,00 per paid post.
Kim opened up about a recent Instagram sponsor that was pitched at her, but she ultimately turned it down for her husband Kanye West.
Kim was Ashley Graham’s first guest on her new podcast, Pretty Big Deal. While on the podcast Kim talked about lots of stuff and spilled some tea. Kim talked about how a fashion brand offered her $1 million to post an ad on Instagram, but she ultimately turned it down for Kanye.
“He’s like the cutest,” Kim told Ashley. “A brand offered me a million dollars to do a post on some of their clothing and they typically—I don’t want to say who the brand is—but they typically knock off Yeezy…Let me ask Kanye how he feels about it and he says, “No babe. I really don’t want you to do that.” Understandable but that’s a lot of money.”
But the story doesn’t just end there. Kim went on to tell Ashley that for Mother’s Day, which was the week after she turned down the million dollar offer, Kanye got her flowers and a card. Inside the card was a million dollar check and a “note saying thank you for always supporting me and not posting,” Kim said.
Also in the envelope was a contract for Kim to become a part owner in Yeezy, a.k.a stock in Yeezy.
Kim said she cashed the check right away. How nice it must be to be a Kardashian.

Cher
Kim enlisted her BFF Jonathan Cheban to be the Sonny to her Cher in 2017. Cher is one of Kim’s style icons. For a few weeks, all she did was post Cher style inspiration on her Instagram. In 2018 Kim went Cher’s Las Vegas show and dressed up as the iconic singer. Kim decided to recreate Cher’s 1972 Oscars look. Kim’s costume is almost an exact replica of Cher’s outfit. Kim even put on a black wig over her then dyed platinum blonde tresses.
Kim’s Halloween costumes didn’t stop in 2017. For her second costume, she went as the late Selena Quintanilla. Kim replicated Selena’s iconic jumpsuit from one of her 1995 performances. In the original Selena wore a cropped bolero jacket on top of the jumpsuit. Kim fully committed to the look and put on fake bangs, painted her nails red and carried a wireless microphone around with her all night long.
Kim’s third Halloween costumer of 2017 was the late Aaliyah. She dressed up as Aaliyah from her “Try Again” music video. Kim did face backlash for her costume for dressing up as a black woman when Kim is not black. But some defended Kim because she didn’t do anything offensive like wear blackface. Problematic or not, Kim’s costume is spot on.
Finally, Kim’s last Halloween costume. Kourtney and Kim went in on a group costume and dressed up as Michael Jackson and Marilyn Monroe from the 1991 Oscars. They hit this look out of the park. Kourtney rocked a Michael wig with black pants, sheer white button up shirt and white jacket. While Kim went full Marilyn glam. She wore a nude bedazzled gown, fur stole, Marilyn’s iconic blonde hair and tons of diamonds.
Kourtney and her then current boyfriend Younes Bendjima dressed up as the iconic Bonnie and Clyde from the movie. The couple kept a low profile while together but went full out for Halloween. Kourtney recreated Faye Dunaway’s iconic Bonnie look with a beret, blonde wig, neck scarf, orange cropped sweater, green skirt with a slit, stockings and lace-up heeled boots.
The couple went as Game of Thrones couple Daenerys and Khal Drogo and nailed it. Their costume brought back Game of Thrones memories and hailed from the beginning seasons of the series. Khloe donned a platinum blonde wig similar to Daenerys, an armored top, brown skirt, and fur boots and matching cape. Tristan wore a fake beard to replicate Khal Drogo’s. He also recreated Khal Drogo’s eyebrow scar and cheat tattoos. Khloe was secretly pregnant in this picture and concealed her bump well.
Kylie and BFF Jordyn Woods went as an angel and devil for Halloween. Kylie never shared a full body shot of her costume because she was hiding her baby bump.
Kourtney and family friend Stephanie Shephard went as a zombie bride and groom. Kourtney definitely borrowed Kylies’ Bride of Chuckie corset dress from 2014 for this costume. The corset dress has the same boning and lace garter and trimming. Steph is wearing a similar corset mini dress but in black with fishnets, a black tie and top hat. But their zombie couple wouldn’t be the same without their scary makeup.
Kourtney and her kids love superheroes. The family went as The Avengers in 2016 and included Scott in their group costume. Kourtney went as Spiderman while Scott dressed as Captain America, Reign Disick was Falcon, Mason Disick was Black Panther and Penelope Disick was Black Widow. This is one of their family costumes this year.
Do Power Rangers count as superheroes? Kourtney and her family look cute as heck dressed up as Power Rangers. Mason went as the Black Ranger, Penelope as the Pink Ranger and Kourtney as the Red Ranger. Reign doesn’t appear to be in a Power Rangers costume and I’m not sure what he’s dressed up as but he looks cute.
Khloe and her boyfriend Tristan Thompson dressed up as Storm and Black Panther for LeBron James’ Halloween party. This was their first couple costume and killed it. Khloe had a custom catsuit made for her costume by Adolfo Sanchez and Hrush Achemyan did her makeup while Justine Marjan gave her those silver locks. Khloe also wore white contacts to give us the full Storm effect. Tristan wore a wildly realistic Black Panther costume two years before the hit movie even dropped.
Kylie went as Christina Aguiler from her “Dirrty” music video. Her costume was on point down to the lip and nose piercing. Christina loved her costume so much that she asked Kylie to dress up as her again for her birthday party. Kylie rolled up to the party in nearly the same look but in black and yellow and not black and red. Christina loved the look and the fact that her pants said “Xtina” down the side.
Kylie Jenner – 2016
Skeleton
Kylie and then official boyfriend Tyga also went as skeletons for Halloween. They threw a spooky dinner party for Halloween and wore matching skeleton makeup. When someone says dinner party the first thing I want to wear is a full face of white paint! Their skeleton makeup is giving us major Kim 2014 Halloween vibes here. Kylie opts for a black lace dress instead of a skeleton suit, but the makeup is similar. Instead of painting her eyes black she kept them bare and chose to go with a vampy red lip and not skeleton teeth.
Another year, another superhero costume. Kourtney and her three kids dressed up as various superheroes and even had a costume change into other superhero outfits. In the first photo, Kourtney dressed up as Captain American while Penelope matched her mom. Mason went as Spiderman and baby Reign dressed up the Flash. In the second photo, Kourtney dressed up as Wonder Woman while her kids dressed up as generic superheroes capes and all. North made an appearance in the family photo and she’s dressed up as a unicorn.
Kim reused her 2013 Met Gala dress for her 2015 Halloween costume. The Met Gala look made waves, good or bad waves you can decide, so why not re-wear the iconic look? She was pregnant with Saint West in this picture and wore the dress at the Met when she was pregnant with North.
Kendall Jenner – 2015
Karl Lagerfeld
Supermodel Kendall dressed up as a sexy Karl Lagerfeld for Halloween 2015. Her Karl Lagerfeld costume is way different than most because her’s doesn’t include pants. Kendall wore a white wig tied in a black bow similar to Karl’s real hair. She then wore a glittery white bodysuit with a black mesh insert in the front, fishnets and knee-high boots. Kendall topped the look off with Karl’s staple black fingerless gloves and a mini Chanel bag. While out she threw on a tailored black suit jacket and black sunglasses.
Kylie Jenner – 2015
Snow Princess
Kylie went as a snow princess in 2015. Her icy look had a fur-lined mini skirt and cropped fur lined hoodie. She completed the look with fuzzy arm cuffs and fuzzy boots. She also wore a platinum blonde hair to take her icy look to the next level. Kylie loves a good sexy Halloween costume. I doubt the two white sportscars are included in the costume, but they do really complete the look.
Kylie also went as a warrior princess in 2015. I’ve said it multiple times and I’ll say it again, Kylie loves a sexy Halloween costume! The then 18-year-old wore knee-high boots, a low cut long skirt with two major slits on the side and bra. She completed the look with some armored shoulder pads, a high pony and a sword. Her three friends dressed up as her ninjas making her sexy costume a group function.
Kourtney was pregnant with her third child Reign and kept her Halloween costume simple and went as a black cat. Her kids, Penelope and Mason, dressed up as a skunk and Darth Vadar respectively. In a month and a half, Kourtney would give birth to Reign thus completing her trio of kids with Scott. Reign was coincidentally born on Mason’s fifth birthday so her two sons share a birthday. The couple has thought about having more kids together despite not actually being together but for right now they’re good with three kids.
Khloe kept it safe and dressed up as a sexy black cat, while Scott took things over the line and dressed up as a sheik. Khloe’s take on the black cat costume is way different than Kourtney’s. Khloe’s look is sexy, her ears have a lace veil and her makeup is smoky and dark. While Kourtney’s black cat costume was all black, covered up and more cute than sexy. I don’t blame her though she was super pregnant in that picture and being sexy for Halloween was probably the furthest from her mind.
Kylie and “friend” Tyga dressed up as Chuckie and Chuckie’s Bride for Halloween. The two weren’t technically dating at this time because Kylie was still 17 and Tyga was 25, so their relationship wasn’t kosher or legal. Despite not officially dating the two wore a couple costume for Halloween, which totally isn’t suspicious. Kylie really leaned into the sexy Halloween costume this year and opted to wear a white corset dress, a garter belt and knee-high socks. She covered up with a leather jacket.
Kendall decided to go completely opposite from Kylie’s ultra sexy costume. She and Cara Delevingne went as Mario and Luigi for Halloween in 2014. The costume is rather basic but when you’re a supermodel anything basic looks phenomenal on you. The best friend’s swapped their hats for this cute and hilarious photo. Kendall went even as far to draw a mustache on her face to perfect her Luigi costume.
Kim’s first Halloween costume for 2014 was a skeleton. It looks like Kim had her skeleton custom painted on to a black bodysuit. Her makeup though is the real showstopper. Before skeleton makeup was a huge thing for Halloween Kim did it first. She painted her face completely white and then carved out her cheeks, teeth, nose and eye sockets with black paint. She slicked back her hair to top off the creepy skeleton look.
Kim’s second Halloween costume was more fashionable than her scary skeleton look. Kim dressed up a longtime and iconic Vogue editor Anna Wintour. She donned a wig that matched Anna’s iconic bob perfectly. She completed the look with massive black sunglasses (another staple to Anna’s wardrobe) and a classic tweed dress and jacket presumably from Chanel, Anna’s favorite clothing line. North West dressed up as Anna’s right-hand man Andre Talley while her friend Joyce Bonelli and her child went as Grace Coddington and Karl Lagerfeld. The fashionable group totally nailed this group costume.
Kylie went as the moody gothic Wednesday Addams for Halloween and shared her costume in an appropriate black and white picture. We don’t have too many details as what then 16-year-old Kylie’s costume entailed but we can see a black cape, pigtail braids and black tights. Recreating a Wednesday Addams costume is super simple for Halloween just wear a black dress, black shoes, black tights, black coat and braid your hair. Bonus if you use a Kylie Lip Kit to give yourself some vampy lips to match.
New couple Kim and Kanye West had their first couple costume moment Halloween 2012. Kim dressed up as a blonde mermaid, tail and all. While Kanye West dressed up as a sailor. Kim later brought back this look for their daughter North’s birthday party. She wanted it to be mermaid theme so Kim busted out her old Halloween costume. The new couple was heading to the Midori Halloween party together.
Kim shared this 2012 Halloween throwback and it’s one for the books. Kim and Kourtney decided to go with a DC superhero group costume for a party. Kim and Kanye went as Catwoman and Batman while Kourtney and Scott went as Batwoman and Robin. Fifth wheel Jonathan went as the Riddler while their friend Anthony Schiller went as the Joker. Get ready for more superhero costumes because they are somewhat of a staple in the Kardashian family.
Kim put on her red wig and rocked the heck out of this Poison Ivy costume. The hair and the costume were enough but she went all the way and even put fake poison ivy leaves in her hair and on her eyelashes. If you look closley you can see her engagement and wedding ring from Kris Humphries on her left ring finger. The two got married months before Halloween that year. Even though she were together she opted to do a BFF costume and not a couple costume. Not pictured is Jonathan in an ill-fitting Robin costume, trust me you’re not missing much. This photo was taken on October 29, 2011, and two days later Kim would file for divorce from Kris. Maybe that’s why Jonathan is in a last-minute Robin costume and Kris is nowhere to be seen.
Kim and Jonathan, pre-Foodgod days, dressed up as little red riding hood and the big bad wolf for Halloween. This is the first of many joint costumes between the two BFFs. The little red riding hood and the big bad wolf is not your typical couple costume, but it works and they two are rocking the look, even Jonathan’s grey makeup doesn’t look half bad. The two were attending Heidi Klum’s annual Halloween party, so Kim’s star status is definitely on the rise.
What’s Halloween without a costume change from Kim? The reality star ditched Jonathan and opted for a sexier and tighter Halloween look for her other Halloween festivities. Kim didn’t go the basic girl route and just slap a pair of cat ears on she went all out. She decided to be a sexy cheetah for Halloween. Her costume was skin tight and had a massive mesh insert over her chest and stomach so she can flaunt all of her assets.
Kim and Kris attended a Halloween party together but didn’t match their outfits. Kim went as Wonder Woman while Kris went as a sexy army captain. The duo just wrapped season two of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The mother and daughter were hosting PAMA’s Halloween Masquerade party that year. Remember the good old days when the Kardashians did promotional work for any brand at any time? We miss those days.
A real throwback! Kim and her then boyfriend NFL player Reggie Bush attending a Halloween party together. The couple decided to dress up as a 1920s couple, a flapper girl and a gangster. Kim’s pearl necklaces look awfully familiar to her Playboy shoot. The couple was at Pur Jeans Halloween party in Los Angeles.
In 2008 Khloe went with the classic sexy cop costume. She third wheeled with Kim and Reggie at the Pur Jeans Halloween party. After this party, Khloe didn’t share her Halloween costume until 2014. Thankfully her sisters are obsessed with the spooky holiday and filled that six-year gap for us.

Kylie shared this Halloween throwback to celebrate Father’s Day in 2015. In the snapshot, Kendall and Kylie match and both dressed up as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. They are both wearing glittery red shoes and Toto when they were younger. The fluffy dog almost distracts from Kendall’s mismatched bangs.
The Kardashian-Jenners love to move. This family has owned so many homes in Calabasas and the surrounding areas I wouldn’t be shocked if they eventually own half of Los Angeles.
We’ve seen the family come up from humble beginnings. Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian were sharing a three bedroom townhouse and Kris and Caitlyn Jenner were still married living in their first Calabasas home that was the backdrop of the Keeping Up With The Kardashiansseason one promo. Kylie and Kendall Jenner weren’t even teenagers then! Those were the good old days.
But now the reality TV family have moved on to bigger and pricer houses. In fact, I wouldn’t even describe them as houses because they’re certified mansions. Their properties run from a few million up to $20 million and after their expensive renovations and their celebrity touch, these houses will be worth millions more after they move out and on to the next one.

2011
in 2011 Kim Kardashian and Kanye West purchased this 9,000 square-foot Bel-Air mansion for $11 million. The couple completely renovated the home and stayed at Kris’ home while their house was under construction. The home has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms with a huge pool.
The renovation costs became too much for the family and they decided to sell their home in 2018. The couple sold the mansion to Marina Acton for $17.8 million. It’s rumored that Marina bought the house for so much because Kim said she’d promote Marina on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and on her social media.
2014
In 2014 the couple bought a sprawling Hidden Hills mansion for almost $20 million. They began renovations right away on the 15,667 square-foot, eight bedroom estate. The house was originally described as French Country, but knowing Kim and Kanye’s style, sleek and minimalist, the house will have a major facelift.
The house has two swimming pools, two spas and a vineyard. Their renovations have reportedly cost them roughly $20 million, the same price they bought the house for. The family moved into the house in December 2017 while renovations were still going on.
Kylie Jenner
2015
Kylie bought her first home right before she turned 18-years-old. For $2.6 million Kylie bought a 4,851 square-foot home in Calabasas. Kylie shared a series of house tours of her first home on her YouTube channel. Her interior design tastes were definitely influenced by her mom. Her first home is outfitted in dark grays, blacks and neutrals. She listed her home in June 2016 for over $3 million.
2016
A year after buying her first home Kylie purchased her second house in Hidden Hills in May 2016. She bought the 7,040 square-foot home for a reported $6.025 million. She sold the home for $6.7 million in 2018. The house sits on 4.5 acres and has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. After she bought the home she took her fans on a tour via Snapchat. Her kitchen features a huge marble island and the beauty mogul also put in an elevator into her home. She also made a boys room and room for her dogs.
A few months later in August 2016, Kylie purchased the 5,154 square-foot home next door for $4.5 million. It was rumored that Kylie bought the four bedrooms and 3.5 bathroom house for her Kylie Cosmetics headquarters. She later listed the property in December 2016 for $5.4 million.
Later that year Kylie bought the plot of land next to her new Hidden Hills home for $5 million. She listed the 1.5 acres in August 2018 for $5.55 million and eventually sold it for $5.35 million.
Kylie then finished the year out by buying a THIRD home. In October 2016 Kylie purchased a Cape Cod style house for $12 million in Hidden Hills. The 13,000 square-foot home features eight bedrooms, 11 baths and sits on 1.4 acres of land. The house features a home theater, game room and spa. Kylie stayed put in this home and stayed hidden from the paps here while secretly pregnant with Stormi.
2018
In September Kylie posted on Snapchat of a new home. it’s unsure if it’s a friend’s house or her new home. Kylie was clearly staying at the home for a bit and posted videos from bed letting the automatic windows up and another video of the backyard with includes a massive pool and tennis court.
Kylie even posted another video of herself driving up to the house in her sports car. Do you think Kylie will be moving soon?
Kendall Jenner
2014
In 2014 Kendall finally moved out and into a $1.4 million condo in Westwood in May 2014. The condo had two bedrooms, three bathrooms and was in a full-service luxury high rise building. The corner unit condo was 2,068 square-feet and had lots of natural light.
The condo had an open floor plan and the color palette was beige, white, gray and a pale lavender. She decided to list the condo in 2017 for $1.6 million.
2016
In 2016 Kendall Jenner bought Emily Blunt and John Krasinski’s West Hollywood home for $6.5 million. The home is three stories and has six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a pool and a rooftop deck. The house looks perfect for a supermodel in their 20s, but the house was less than perfect for Kendall.
In August 2016 a man stalked her at her house and even followed her onto the property. Kendall talked about the stalking incident on Keeping Up With The Kardashians to Kris and Scott Disick. The man harassed Kendall after he followed her onto her property. The man was arrested and based on the clip it sounds like Kendall pressed charges.
Then in March 2017, the house was burglarized and $200,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from her. There were no signs of forced entry so she assumed it was an inside job and fired her bodyguard over it. She sold the home in September 2017 for $6.85 million.
2017
Kendall moved into an $8.55 million Spanish-Mediterranean style home in Beverly Hills that at one point belonged to Charlie Sheen. The home was a big upgrade over her last house. The home is 6,625 square-feet and features five bedrooms, six baths, a pool, tennis court, theater and spa. The home is located in the Mulholland Estate neighborhood where lots of other celebrities reside. Christina Aguilera is her neighbor!
Even though she bought the home in 2017 she had renovations done and house hopped from family member to family member. Kendall supposedly got permits to remove and replace the fireplace, update the kitchen and redo the house. The home still has its Spanish-Mediterranean vibe but looks a lot sleeker. She finally moved into her house in summer 2018.

After Kourtney’s first son Mason was born she and her partner Scott moved in together. The couple moved into a four bedroom and five baths house in Oaks. The house was 5,199 square-feet and Scott described it as “Alice in Wonderland meets Beetlejuice.”
The house was decorated with contrasting colors black and white with pops of color. The house set the couple back $1.7 million but then they sold it in 2014 for $2.975 million.
2014
Scott and Kourtney stayed in Oaks and moved into a 1.86-acre estate for $8.5 million in January 2014. This house was definitely an upgrade from their previous home. It’s 11,500 square-feet and has six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, an elevator, a sports court and every other amenity you could think of. Kourtney really perfected her interior design taste in this house.
She and Khloe did a joint Architectural Digest cover of their homes in 2016. Kourtney’s office, living room and kitchen were featured in the spread. This was the first of many interior design photoshoots for Kourtney.
In May 2018 her home was featured in Spanish Elle Decorations and then in August that same year, her home was shown in Architectural Digest Italy. The Architectural Digest Italy spread showed parts of Kourtney’s house she usually doesn’t show off like her closet, bathroom and her kids’ rooms.
Kourtney and Scott broke up in 2015 and he moved out of their house in July that year.
Khloe Kardashian
2014
After Khloe and Lamar Odom officially split she finally got a place of her own. In March 2014 she coincidentally bought a home down the street from Kourtney’s new digs in Oaks. She bought the Mediterranean inspired for $7.2 million from Justin Bieber.
This house was featured on Architectural Digest alongside Kourtney’s home. Her house is very romantic compared to her sisters’ places.
2016
In summer 2016 Khloe began dating Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson. Because of his crazy schedule during the season, Khloe spends half of the year at his Cleveland home. Khloe didn’t technically buy this house, but she does live there for half of the year. Tristan bought his Cleveland home in December 2015 for $1.9 million. His house has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and is roughly 6,424 square-feet.
In 2010 Kris and Caitlyn Jenner bought the iconic Keeping Up With The Kardashians house. Back in 2010, Kris bought the 8,860 square foot home for almost $4 million. The house has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. At one point Kim, Kanye and North were living there while their Bel Air home was being renovated.
All of the filming for the show still happens at this house with the iconic black and white floors. Kris’ kitchen it outfitted with chandeliers and is washed white walls and counters. Her home office is sultry and dark and is regularly featured on the show. Her closet is like an actual store. Her master suite is huge and cozy. It features lots of shades of grays and varying textures of fur, velvet and satin.

2017
In December 2017 Kris bought a brand new house in Hidden Hills for $9.9 million. The momager’s new home is right across the street from Kim’s work in progress Hidden Hills mansion. Don’t worry Kris’ black and white checkered floor Calabasas home is still in her name.
They don’t film Keeping Up With The Kardashians in her Hidden Hills home where she actually lives. According to Trulia, the home is 1,980 square-feet with three beds and three baths. The home has steel and glass doors, a chef’s kitchen and an open house. The home is airy, breezy and a lot different than her Calabasas home. Kris gave a tour of her closet recently on her Instagram.
Recently, Kanye West has been getting more headlines than his wife Kim Kardashian.
West has sent his fans into a rage for his recent comments made while visiting President Donald Trump at the White House, wanting to abolish the 13th amendment and more. His ludicrous comments are reportedly causing so much strain on his marriage to Kardashian that she is planning on divorcing him.
Kardashian has always been ride or die with West despite having different political beliefs. On West’s track “Wouldn’t Leave” off of his album ye, he rapped about Kardashian’s reaction to his “slavery was a choice” comment.
West rapped, “My wife callin’, screamin’, say, “we ’bout to lose it all!” / Had to calm her down ’cause she couldn’t breathe / Told her she could leave me now / But she wouldn’t leave.”
Kardashian confirmed at the CFDA Fashion Awards that she did call West screaming and crying about his slavery comments.
But now rumor has it, Kardashian is planning on leaving and divorcing Kanye.
In August 2018 Radar reported that Kardashian threatened West with divorce. A source close to the couple said, “Kim is running the Kanye show now. She told him he needed to go public with an apology for the slavery comments that he made three months ago and she also told him that he needed to rehire his manager.”
“Kim was very vocal about her anger over his behavior and she threatened to divorce him if he didn’t start listening to her and following her orders,” the source added.
If only she knew that the slavery comments were the start of West’s MAGA downfall.
Now Radar reports that West’s continued political comments are causing a huge strain on their marriage. Their source says their marriage is “extremely strained” and that Kardashian “cannot handle another breakdown.”
The couple’s friend Charlamagne Tha God even told Us Weekly that he doesn’t see their marriage lasting. He said that the couple doesn’t seem to have “forever love” like Jay-Z and Beyonce or Barack and Michelle Obama. He also added that their “energies don’t seem to align.”
The Pop Hub is also reporting that a source close to Kardashian confirmed that she has taken steps to initiate a divorce. They say that Kardashian was on the phone with her former divorce lawyer to figure out how a divorce can be implemented on short notice.
It’s been over two years since Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris. Reflecting back at the October 2016 incident, Kim says she’s “grateful” for the incident for how it changed her life. She doesn’t wish the experience on anyone, but it has changed her and she believes it changed her for the better.
The 38-year-old reality TV star went on The Alec Baldwin Show, where she talked about her tramatizing robbery.
“My life has definitely changed a lot in the last two years from that experience and just wanting more privacy,” Kardashian said. She went on to say she “almost lost” herself the year after her robbery.
“In the last three months, I feel like I’ve come out of my shell a little bit more, back to who I was,” she said according to Entertainment Tonight. “I was never depressed, but I wasn’t motivated to get up and work like I used to. It shook me.”
“I was literally – my mom had to come over and say, ‘Will you get out of bed? Will you put on something else other than sweats? Put on a little bit of makeup, feel like yourself again,'” Kardashian added.
In October 2016, Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint at the hotel she was staying at in Paris for fashion week. She was tied and gagged while the robbers stole millions of jewels from her. According to the police report, two men entered her room and held her at gunpoint and demanded her $4 million diamond engagement ring that Kanye West gave her.
Then they dragged around the rented hotel room and eventually she was tied up to the bed. The robbers stole almost $5 million worth of jewelry. They stole two diamond Cartier bracelets, a gold and diamond Jacob necklace, Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings, a gold Rolex and many more.
“I’m totally a realist. So I know, you post on social media your locations, your jewelry, your bags, what you’re doing, where you’re going, your cars, your stuff. I would always talk about my stuff,” she said. “There was a lot of me that measured who I was by how much I had.”
She added, “I thought, ‘Oh, I’m worth so much.’ So that changed in me. And, that needed to change in me, so I’m grateful for the experience.”
Despite being happy to have grown from the incident, she still has to deal with lots of trauma.
“Even though it was horrific, and I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone, it really did deeply change me to where now I feel like I can get back to myself, I can put on makeup and heal,” Kardashian opened up.
The trauma after the incident was a lot. Kim experienced PTSD and anxiety.
“I was so scared for anyone to know where I was. Like, if I went to a restaurant, I thought, ‘Ok, they’re gonna post a photo of me online, know what I’m at this restaurant, know that my home’s open and that they can go and maybe rob my home or rob this or know I’m here,” she said.
Kardashian went on to say that she had the thought of danger in her mind all the time post-robbery. “I never thought about anything scary before, until then. I felt like I was living in a bubble, and that opened me up to so much,” she added.
Since her robbery, Kardashian has beefed up her security. She told Alec Baldwin, “Now my life is six security [guards] outside of our house at all times, and a few security when I travel, always 24/7 outside my door. I just move totally differently now.”
